  1. Wish I could attend, but have a previously scheduled event. Here's how I feel about the current state of our country:

For far too many years I have sit back and read about the Federal Government run amok with wasteful deficit spending. And to what end? Just look at our economy, our country, the financial health of our people. Obviously, the system has failed us. Since the TARP debacle, I have been emailing and calling every elected official I can reach and voiced my disgust with the current tax and spend mentality, as well as the Socialist Agenda that's being shoved down our throats.

I am mad as you know what and fed up with the Federal Government. Every 2 weeks when I get my paycheck (which I am fortunate to still have), I see how much is taken out for Washington, D.C. -- for Federal Income Tax, Social Security, Medicare. What's next, the Renewable Energy Tax, ACORN Tax, Save the Illegal Immigrants Tax???

It's time to remind the Ruling Political Class in Washington who they work for: We the People.

  2. Thank you for all of your hard work during the Bush Administration to try and curb wasteful spending. I am so happy to see ideologically consistent protests about spending.

I also have a question. I am not very good at math, but what is the threshold marginal tax rate increase for socialism. 5%, 10%, 20%? Is it indexed to the actual tax rate?
